uninvited guests

It was a Sunday morning in the Mattsvil family. And there was a nock there where uninvited guests. The dad in the Mattsvil family opened the door and there was a man who was named Harris Burdick and he was holding a big box of Christmas presents for Judy and Eric the Mattsvil kids. It was from their aunt Julie and by the way it was just the mailman.judy and Eric opened the presidents Eric got the Simon swipe game . Judy got a new book. It was an awesome day.😃!!

Dog stockings

Today I made stockings for my dogs . First we got fabrics for three stockings. Then we trased an stenstil next we sewed two pieces together. Third we made the lineing. After that we made the names. Fifth I  sewed the cuffs together. Finally we sewed all that together and ironed it  down. The very last thing we did was put our initials down!

Dog in school

Once a dog came in my school.First he went to the principal. The Principal jumped on her desk she was so scared. Later the dog went to the art room ? I don't know what she was doing she knocked over all the paints,brushes,and all the other art supplies . Then she went to the music room played the tuba spit gum in the tuba  later a kid came in played the tuba the gum spattered out on mr.matts face he yelled and yelled . Finally a lady kicked him out.

My first day of second grade

It was my first day of second grade. First I unpacked my supplies. Next, I had Spanish class (espanol class). We learned how to say me llamo and our names. Then we reviewed counting to ten in Spanish. Then we learned to count to 20. Before Spanish we had snack. It was the morning. Then we played a name game. We had to describe ourselves and say our names. I said lighthearted Leah. It was a great day. 

Monkeys on the run

 

Once a zookeeper saw the monkey's cage was open. A monkey ran out then the others ran out. The monkeys said yay! I'm so excited I'm FREE!They went to the lion. The zookeeper chased them.🙈🙉🙊🙀.The lion said o my. Then the lion ran out then the zookeeper  said ot ou. The lion chased the monkeys. He growled  at the monkeys. They got scared and they ran back to the cage. They were so excited until the lion started running after them and growling. The lion ran into the cage and tried to bite the monkeys tails. The zookeeper said o no! So the monkeys ran faster and faster and faster. Then they saw a vine and they swung and swung. The lion tried to bite the monkeys tails again. And then the zookeeper told him LION! COME HERE RIGHT NOW! So he did and he went into his own cage. The monkeys felt great to be home. 

Meet Cassie

Cassie is a black lab. She is a puppy. Cassie is12 weeks old. Cassie likes sticks and toys. She snuggles with me.

 I feed Cassie all her food. I wake up erly in the morning for her. I also bring her outside to do potty.

Pastina for Lunch

Today I made pasta for lunch. It was itty bitty pasta called pastina. First, I put water in the pot. Second, I put it on the stove and mommy turned it on. Next I waited for it to boil. Mommy kept saying, "Mommom always said a watched pot never boils!" Once it boiled I poured the pasta in and I stirred it. Gloria was not happy because she wasn't allowed to stir the pot because it was hot. Next we drained the pasta. Mommy helped me with that part. Then I cut some butter and put it in the pot. Next I stirred the butter in the pasta and it melted right away. Finally I served it in the bowls. 

We ate it with cheese at the coffee table in the family room. Mommy told me that Nonna and Mommom used to make pastina for her. Gloria kept saying, "Mmmmm!" She also said,"Delicious," and "Yummy, yummy, yummy!"

When Gloria went to bed for her nap we wrote about the pasta.
